Kyle joins us as the Business Manager for Crop Intelligence. In this role he will be responsible for building the team and business to ensure Crop Intelligence can deliver timely insights that enable our farmers to maximize the potential of their available water.
Ryan has worked in the Precision Ag industry for over 25 years—with a keen interest in weather stations and capacitance soil moisture probe technology. Working in this data driven industry, he has long understood the value of good data when it is trusted and put into action. Ryan recognizes the importance of collaboration and working with a strong team. He is often referred to as “Mr. Tenacious” for his determination and commitment to the development and success of Crop Intelligence.
Andrea De Roo is the Director of Agronomy for Crop Intelligence and a 4thgeneration farmer in southeast Saskatchewan. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 2013 and Masters in Plant Science in 2016 from the University of Saskatchewan. She is also a designated Professional Agrologist with SIA and a Certified Crop Advisor and 4R Nutrient Management Specialist with CCA. Her and her husband live near Indian Head with their 2 dogs and 3.5 horses. In her spare time, you will find her doing something outdoors, or volunteering in the community.
Alana joins us as a Territory Business Agronomist for Crop Intelligence.
She has experience as a Provincial Agronomist for Richardson Pioneer, and extensive experience as a Market Development Agronomist from her time with PRIDE Seeds.
Alana grew up on a farm outside of Porcupine Plain, Saskatchewan and has strong prairie roots, so we know she’ll not only fit in well with the team, but with you as well.

Elston is a living legend in Western Canadian Agriculture. Either you’ve heard of him, seen him speak, or received advice from one of the hundreds of agronomists he’s trained. Elston is passionate about every facet of agriculture—while recently focusing his passion on Water Driven Yield Potential. As comfortable presenting to a group as he is the field—he is an integral part of our team. Elston lends his knowledge and expertise to the Crop Intelligence team and has been a key influence in the development of Crop Intelligence.
Trevor Fraser is a hardworking, goal-oriented individual who aspires to lead and grow the hardware aspects of the Crop Intelligence Program. With an additional 20 years in the sales and service industries, he brings to the company a balance between customer training, sales, and service—while growing a company’s brand potential. His career path has led him through several different industries, landing now in agriculture. His passion for knowledge and hands-on ability will show in a steady hardware growth and understanding of how the right equipment will assist in the customer interaction and knowledge base.
Alexis Watson is the Operations Coordinator for Crop Intelligence. Her role involves sales, administration, and general support for the team. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and holds a Commercial Pilot License. Just like the other members of Crop Intelligence, her family history is tied into agriculture. Being the token “Watson” of the company, she is ready and happy to help you with anything you need!
Andrew Markewich is the Systems Planner for Crop Intelligence. He grew up in Regina and obtained his Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Systems Engineering from the University of Regina. He has previous work experience in mechanical design, asset management, and customer service. Andrew is focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of Crop Intelligence hardware. In his spare time, he enjoys getting outdoors and working on cars.
